THE INTELLIGENDER DEBATE

YOU BE THE JUDGE: GREEN=BOY YELLOW=GIRL

I'm so impatient I really want to know the sex of the baby, I was told by a few friends about Intelligender, looked up the info, lots of positive stuff about it, So we ran to walgreens and shelled out the $31.99 for the test, It has some strict rules, So woke up this morning and followed them to a "T". The results were coldy with a mix of yellow/ green results, WTF? After I went on a web search of results and got alot of moms that got wrong results, So I'm still hopefull for a boy. We shall see hopefully last week of january?!

FINALLY 12 WEEKS!

I'm offically 12 weeks preggo. I let a few close friends in on my lil secret. I want to tell the family on christmas day but eddie wants to wait til we know the sex. I don't think I can wait that long. As far as me Ive been sick with a cold and alergies. The weather is so up and down. I havent been having any morning sickness but cant eat much til late afternoon. Can't wait to find out what I'm having hopefully in 4-6 weeks. I'm itching to buy something but i'm resisting until I know.

Baby at 12 weeks:

While it may seem as if you've doubled in size over the past few weeks, it's your baby who actually has!
By now, your baby weighs a full half-ounce and is about the size of a large plum. Most of his systems are in place, though there's still plenty of maturing to do. For one thing, his fetal digestive system is beginning to practice contraction movements so he can eat someday, and his bone marrow is busy making white blood cells — weapons against germs once he's out of your safe haven. The pituitary gland (at the base of the brain) has started producing the hormones that'll enable him (or her) to make babies of his (or her) own in a couple of decades or so. If all these changes sound dizzying, that may just be you dealing with yet another problematic pregnancy symptom: Lots of women experience occasional dizziness and/or feel faint due to progesterone, which causes increased blood flow to your baby by relaxing your own blood vessels. More blood flow to baby means less blood flow to your body and brain and that, along with typically lower blood-sugar levels during pregnancy, can set your world a-spinning. Do your part to keep your equilibrium by eating regularly, getting adequate rest, and standing up slowly.

11 WEEKS PREGO

I'm 11 weeks pregnant. I haven't had any throwing up but some nausuea and really werid cravings, like greek food, and salads, which arent my typical cravings. This child is making me so so tired, It could be the combo of taking care of my two toddlers and running a house on top of being prego. I still havent told many people yet due to I'm waiting til christmas. I did tell my grama and a couple of special friends know and thats it. The suspense is killing me! But it will be fun to announce on christmas :) Eddie says im showing already, great getting harder to hide!

Week 11 of Pregnancy: Baby's Hair and Fingernails Develop
Slightly more than two inches long now and weighing about a third of an ounce, your fetus is growing by leaps and bounds. And so is his or her head, which is equal in length to the rest of the body (don't worry — all fetuses are top-heavy).

On the crown of that large head (and over the rest of the body), hair follicles are forming. Fingernail and toenail beds begin to develop this week and by next week, the nails themselves will start to grow (so don't forget to add a baby nail clipper to your to-buy list).

Your baby's body is straightening and his or her torso is lengthening (sounds like a yoga pose, doesn't it?). Other poses your baby can assume now: stretches, somersaults, and forward rolls. And while you can't tell this baby's gender by its cover yet, testes are developing if it's a boy and ovaries if it's a girl.

I'M TEN WEEKS

It's going slow but steady..lol still not much sickness. I cant drink soda all I taste is carbonation. The one drawback I've had is tiredness and lil depression, yes depression, I dont know why and feel stupid to say that but I am. Never had this before and I hope its a phase and goes by fast.

Fetal Development This Week
Week 10 of Pregnancy: Baby's Bones Develop
Your baby's nearly an inch and a half long and the size of a prune, but not nearly as shriveled. In fact, your baby is really taking a human shape now. Though your baby's arms are developing, each one is only about the size of this number 1.
Your baby's growth is fast and furious when you are 10 weeks pregnant. He or she is nearly an inch and a half long and the size of a prune, but not nearly as shriveled (even with all the time it spends in water). In fact, your baby is really taking a human shape now. Bones and cartilage are forming, and small indentations on the legs are developing into knees and ankles. The arms (complete with elbows) can flex already, but don't run to the store for a baseball bat just yet. Though your baby's arms are taking shape and getting stronger, each one is only about the size of this number 1.

The tooth bud fairy is making her appearance this week, heralding the arrival of your baby's little choppers, which are forming under the gums. (Those pearly whites won't break through the gums until your baby is close to six months old). Other systems are go, too. Your baby's stomach is producing digestive juices, the kidneys are producing larger quantities of urine, and, if your baby's a boy, he's already producing testosterone (yikes!).

MORNING SICKNESS?!

This morning I had "morning sickness", which really hasnt been present in this pregnancy. I was eating my favorite hawaiian food, the loft, leftovers. I cant even imagine eating there anytime soon. Really turned off....bleh. i'm 8 weeks and 4 days, kinda moving slow, lets speed this up to 13 weeks when I reveal I'm preggo and publish this blog to public! Why am I waiting? well I feel like waiting to the second semester is better for me, and the baby is more in the clear of a mischarrage or other problems. I really know wanna know what I'm having, and try to keep my mind off the subject.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING BABY

I'm 8 weeks and 1 day today, and was thinking next thanksgiving our family will have grown and i'll have another reason to be thankful. I've been extremely exhausted and tired, back is killing me, still no morning sickness, I keep thinking it's gonna start any day. I did want to throw up yesterday when I opened my fridge to a strong onion smell, ewww. I threw the onions out even the container and put the trash outside. My sense of smell with baby is so super strong, I smell the weridest and strongest things.

Heres whats going on at 8 weeks:

By the end of your second month of pregnancy, your baby is about the size of a pinto bean and is approximately 14 to 20 mm long. If this is your first pregnancy, you still probably will not be showing yet. However, if this is not your first pregnancy you might be able to tell that you are pregnant. You will notice a slight change in how your clothes fit and your doctor can tell that your uterus is larger than normal. Before you were pregnant, your uterus was about the size of your fist. However, by 6 weeks of pregnancy, your uterus has grown to the size of a grapefruit!

Your baby is developing at an amazing rate during these early weeks. Eyelid folds and ears are forming. Your baby's eyes are still very wide apart on the sides of her head, but will eventually center themselves out. The tip of the nose is actually present at this time as well. On ultrasound you can see that the aortic and pulmonary valves of the heart are present. The tubes that lead from the throat to lungs are branching and your baby's torso is getting longer and beginning to straighten out. Just a few weeks ago, your baby's arms were tiny buds. Now the elbows are actually present and the arms and legs extend forward and have grown longer. Fingers and toes are becoming visible also.

One of the symptoms that you might feel around this time of your pregnancy is cramping or pain in your lower abdomen or side as your uterus grows. Some pregnant women feel tightening or contractions of the uterus. Do not get alarmed if you do not feel this though. If tightening of the uterus or contractions is accompanied by bleeding, you should contact your healthcare provider immediately. Many pregnant women also experience an occasional pain that begins in their buttocks and radiates down their back or legs. This is known as sciatic nerve pain and can be extremely painful at times. More than likely the pain is caused by the pressure on the nerve and it is best to lie on the opposite side to relieve the pressure.

ONE OF MY WERID DREAMS

I had a dream that I had the baby and I was pregnant the whole time and didnt know. I kept trying to see there the girls doctor, but no appointments. Funny thing is the sex of the baby was never revealed in the dream. AHH the werid dreams I will be having.
Felt this morning, kinda sick to my stomach and dont want to eat, exhausted, and the girls woke up early, but since its saturday no timeline to get out of the house. Thank god. Last night I woke up around 245am with a stomach ache and being really hot, opened the window and turned on the fan, took some tums, eddie was so mad to wake up to a freezing cold bed room, felt good to me!

INTRODUCTION

I've always wanted to blog my pregnancy but never did, this time around I will and stay to it!
I'm 7 weeks 2 days pregnant, my third child, I have two beautiful girls, angelina 3 1/2 and leilani 22 months. I'm really excited to document week by week, ultrasounds, doc. appts, cravings, ups and downs. Especially with dealing with two toddlers and running a household.

I found out at 5 weeks and 6 days, went to the doctors, to confrim by urine, and ultrasound. Heart rate was so fast. I have decided this will be my last child, so im excited to go through this pregnancy and sad knowing this is the last. Since I have two girls, I'm really hoping for a boy, but more than anything just want a healthy baby.

**EVERY WEEK I WILL POST WHATS GOING IN WITH MY LIL BEAN!**

This week your baby has an amazing growth spurt. At the beginning of this week, your baby is approximately 4 to 5 mm and by the end of the week it has more than doubled to 11 to 13 mm! Your baby weights approximately 0.03 ounces. Most women are ready for the world to know they are pregnant. Even though you have not changed very much yet, it will come soon! You might have gained a small amount of weight by now, but it should only be a couple of pounds at this time. It is not unusual to lose a few pounds or remain the same though. Internally, cervical mucus is thickening and will form a plug in the cervical canal. The plug seals your cervix throughout the pregnancy and it will be expelled prior to delivery when your cervix begins to dilate.

Your baby's leg and arm buds are longer now and they have divided into segments where the hands and feet will be. The hands and feet also have an area where the fingers and toes will begin to form. At this point of your pregnancy, the heart is bulging from the body and it has divided into right and left chambers. The brain's hemispheres are continuing to grow and the air passages into the lungs are visible. Your baby's eyes are beginning to get pigment. The nose is developing and the beginning of the face can be seen. The baby's abdomen is developing quickly and the appendix and pancreas are already present. Your baby's digestive tract is beginning to form and the hindgut is present. The shape of the talk can still be seen, but it will fade in 3 or 4 weeks.
